Centaur is granular activated carbon (GAC) produced from bituminous coal with excellent catalytic properties. It works through absorption on the surface of the pores. Special applications include the removal of chlorine (chloramine) and hydrogen sulfide from drinking water. Centaur can be used in POE- and POU filters and dialysis water treatment.
