    FILOX

     

    Filox is a filtration medium consisting of 75-85% manganese dioxide. In many cases, it can be used without additional oxidation, depending on the presence of dissolved oxygen. Due to the excellent catalytic properties, the flow rates are very high compared to many other media. Compared to other media, Filox is very heavy and requires frequent rinsing.
