Juraperle is a granular filtering medium with a purity of 99.1% (calcium carbonate). Due to its microcrystalline structure, it is superior to ordinary limestone. Calcium carbonate granules are consumed depending on the level of free CO2. It is necessary to add a filling from time to time (e.g. once a year).
