SOFT-VAK water softening systems prevent common water problems, including calcium carbonate scale (or deposits) and other aggressive minerals such as iron and magnesium. These deposits cause hard water to dry out the skin and hair. When one of these devices is installed in the house, it works to soften the water coming out of each tap, reducing or completely removing these aggressive minerals.
It improves the quality of drinking water in the home and leads to healthier skin, hair and nails after bathing. Our water softening devices work by extracting heavy minerals from water using a process called ionic exchange or by neutralizing these minerals so that they cannot be connected to each other.

Too much limescale in the water not only reduces the quality, but is also responsible for calcified pipes and appliances, for example in dishwashers and washing machines. Without a water softening system, appliances lose their performance in the long term, leading to their failure. With a water softening system, you create the ideal basis for softening the water and reducing hardness substances such as magnesium and calcium to a minimum.
Compact water softening systems in a compact design stand out in particular with their narrow, space-saving construction, as the ion mass container and control unit (control head) are built into a compact housing as a salt container.
The Compact water softening system works according to the ion exchange process, i.e. it exchanges the “hardness minerals” calcium (Ca 2+ ) and magnesium (Mg 2+ ) with sodium ions (Na + ). In the process, it descales your water.
The Compact system consists of a housing with a removable movable cover. The structure integrates a GRP container filled with high-quality ion exchange resin. The system housing serves as a container for tableted salt for the regeneration of the device, where it prepares a brine solution and can accommodate a salt supply (15 – 60 kg max. depending on the device model).
