    VAP 264 – CATALYSED LIQUID OXYGEN SCAVENGER

     

    Vap 264 is a concentrated liquid oxygen scavenger recommended for the rapid and complete removal of dissolved oxygen from the feed and boiler water. The catalyst increases the speed of reaction and is especially useful at lower feed water temperature. Efficient removal of oxygen ensures the best corrosion inhibition and boiler protection.

    Dosage
    Use sufficient VAP 264 to maintain a sufficient oxygen scavenger residual in boiler. The dosage depends on system operating parameters, water supply, and amount of condensate return and type of pre-treatment. In case of alkalinity need use together with VAP 261. Our consultant will suggest the correct dosage based on operating conditions.
