GREENSAND PLUS – green sand is a newer version of the classic manganese green sand and can be used as a perfect alternative for manganese green sand, but with a lot of advantages. Coated with manganese dioxide, it acts as an excellent catalyst for the surface. Greensand Plus is a black, nodular medium that can be used to remove soluble iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, but also in precisely defined cases to remove arsenic and radio.

In most cases where the removal of iron and manganese are the main goals are continuously advised to pre-treatment with chlorine (or other strong oxidizer). To remove arsenic and radio, it is necessary to observe special operating conditions and always perform pilot testing.
