    VAP 283 – ORGANIC OXYGEN SCAVENGER FOR HIGH PRESSURE BOILER

     

    VAP 283 is specifically formulated with organic volatile oxygen scavenger, based on carbohydrazide. VAP 283 has a fast reaction with oxygen and it promotes the magnetite film formation that protects the boiler and all of the feed and steam/condensate return pipelines. VAP 283 is recommended for systems with a very low salinity (medium-high pressure boiler system).

    Dosage
    Sufficient quantity of VAP 283, in relation with feed water temperature, should be used to keep the residual oxygen scavenger above 50-100 ppb in the condensate return circuit. Our Technical Service will recommend the optimal dosage for your system. VAP 283 is usually fed in the deaerator tank and/or the feed water pipeline, using a standard dosing pump.
