    VAP 205 – OXYGEN SCAVENGER FOR BOILER SYSTEMS

     

    VAP 205 is an oxygen scavenger, based on ascorbate. VAP 205 reacts very fast with oxygen in feed and boiler water, building a magnetite layer, to protect the system from corrosion. VAP 205 and VAP 276 are recommended for a complete boiler water treatment when FDA approval is required .

    Dosage
    Use sufficient VAP 205 to maintain in the condensate return an oxygen scavenger residual. The dosage is depending on system operating parameters, water supply, and amount of condensate return and type of pre-treatment. Our consultant will suggest the correct dosage based on operating conditions. VAP 205 could be used concentrated or diluted using anti-acid dosing pump.
